Globe and Mail doing some good old NDP bashing - What's New?

Globe tries to make hay on recent by-elections, ones we weren't competitive in.

Mr. Layton shrugs off this week's by-election results, saying NDP supporters weren't motivated to turn out because the ridings were easy wins for the Liberals.
He also bristles at recent comments arguing that the results show he should ease his attacks on the Liberals, saying less than 10 per cent of his comments take aim at them.
“I'm not going to change something that isn't happening,” he said.

Of course, more revealing is the comment section of the Globe, where misinformation is put out by the liberal supporters and of course communist stuff - red menace - by the Conservative supporters.

Just another day in the MSM.

Just fooling around

Well, for some reason, today seemed like a good day to perhaps take the plunge and post a blog or two/three down the road. At this point I think this blog will focus mainly on education, but also federal and provincial politics.

What will be, will be.

BigCityLib Strikes Back: Exploiting The Cadman Scandal

BigCityLib Strikes Back: Exploiting The Cadman Scandal

And as to all of the above, it just looks like complete political and crass politics. Our political system is starting reflect Britney Spears syndrom. Is this what the 'MAIN THING' has come to?
Libs won't call the cons on the mat for the environment, trashing of Kyoto, budget give aways to the rich, corp welfare, and Afghanistan, but gee, we have a scandal, let's pull the plug!

Meanwhile last week, libs were doing the pretzel, saying the cons budget was liberal lite (bad optics but it's your party), we support combat and staying again (extention 4 by libs) in Afghanistan till 2011 (please spare me, we really mean this is the last and final date of getting out of the combat), and one possibly wonders why NDPers are taking on both the cons and the libs.
Come on, this party has been sitting on its hands or just not showing up for votes, since the Cons got elected.
